Plus500 is a good but expensive option for CFD traders. It offers a wide asset index covering all financial markets, including Forex, metals, energy, stocks, indices, and ETFs. However, trading spreads on Plus500 tend to be wide across almost all assets—for example, the EUR/USD spread is 2 pips, and GBP/USD is 3 pips, with even higher spreads on minor currencies. Keep in mind that Plus500 does not charge trading commissions.
I opened a real account with Plus500 in the past and experienced considerable slippage and re-quotes during order execution. Scalping and automated trading are not feasible. At the time of the review, the welcome bonus was a 30% cash bonus.
Regarding the trading platform, Plus500 offers a user-friendly web trader and fast fund management, with quick deposit and withdrawal processes. Plus500 is a suitable choice for CFD traders but not for scalpers.
